Our Purpose...
     It's up to parents to regulate what their children do.

     It's not up to the government to legislate what the public in general is able to buy or enjoy.

          . . . is to form a grassroots organization to monitor Congress and the federal bureaucracies, state legislatures and local governments and in turn notify the membership of these events via our website and an e-mail newsletter so that they can then voice their opinion to these entities.

     It is the view of the founders of GamePAC that there is a vacumn in the electronic games community. Although there are organizations representing the e-games industry, such as the IDSA, we feel that help is needed for the community as a whole in keeping on top of pending legislation and public discussion that will have an effect on the e-games community. We all need to take action to inform ourselves and spread the word about what is happening in government so that we can voice our opinions before restrictive legislation becomes a fait accompli.
